Emergency First Response

CPR and first-aid training for divers and non-divers alike. Primary and secondary care, hands-on and calm. The prerequisite for Rescue Diver and a skill for life.

What you'll learn

• Assess a scene and a casualty before you touch anything
• CPR on an adult, and rescue breathing
• Using an AED
• Serious bleeding, shock and a suspected spinal injury
• Bandaging, splinting and burns
• Bites, stings and what the Mediterranean can do to you
• Illness and injury assessment — the secondary care that follows
